You would be amazed how types of food and eating habits can impact your weight, and how following a few eating tips for natural weight loss can make it a positive impact.  If you are among the many who resort to comfort food during episodes of stress or nervousness, making a few changes will keep you from putting on the extra pounds.

If you lean towards the really unhealty stuff like ice-cream, pastries, or other high calorie treats during these episodes you are not alone.  It is easy to over indulge in this situations especially when the food is fun as opposed to healthy.  A great eating tip is to keep healthy snacks around for these type of situations especially if you are interested in natural weight loss.  Sunflower or pumpkin seeds are a great alternative as there is a lot of chewing involved, but they contain very few calories.

Secondly don't be lazy when it comes to eating, try to stick to foods that you actually clean and prepare yourself. This in itself will at the very least force you to actually work for your food.  It will also distract you and maybe keep you away from the bag of chips or gallon of ice cream.  By the way never, never, never, oh did I say never? Yes, never eat directly from the bag of chips or tub of ice cream.  Serve yourself the recommended serving and walk away from the container.

One eating tip that will help you with natural weight loss and is extremely easy to do is to substitute one meal per day with a healthier alternative meal.  Enjoy your meal with a glass of water, preferably two glasses to help flush out your system.  You will be surprized at the amazing effects this will have on your overall weight and well being.

The last thing you need to do is probably just slow down, do not rush through your meals.  First of all by the time your system figures out you are full, it is too late, there is still more food in route.  Try to relax and take your time savor every bite and if you haven't heard this before, chew, chew, and chew.  You will find that you will feel satisfied sooner and will not be so prone to overeating.
